Didn't know about this... I'll have to look for it when I go on my daily trip to the post office, since there's a Barnes & Nobles near by.

I didn't know about it either, thanks for posting. I was planning on going to Borders later today so I'll look to see if they have it.

Only big newstands tend to carry Relix, so yeah Borders should be good. I need to pick one up myself, just found this on the Relix Myspace page. I love this mag

Ugh, I'm nervous about that as well. Their website doesn't even have this as the current issue yet, so it must be real new.

I just got my subscription copy today. Very nice, long article. Sections on environmental awareness, Mike and Crohn's, touring van, politics, and other stuff.

Ed says that Worldwide Suicide was written in large part about Pat Tillman:

" 'It's about him and a bunch of the guys who didn't get as much coverage - the guys who barely got a paragraph instead of ten pages,' Vedder says. 'The thing about Tillman was, he got ten pages but they were all lies. His family is being blocked by our government from finding out what happened.

" 'Where are the learders that are going to represent a galvanized viw on what to do next?' he asks. 'Democracy might have a chance at working if people educate themselves on these issues and make their opinions known.' "

And that is the thing that pisses me off most. So many people that I know are just apathetic towards it all. They expect others to do it for them or just refrain from having a discussion about these issues for fear of offending another

I'm pretty sure Eddie mentioned reading an article that they had been interviewed for during one of the SF shows. This must be it.

Same here. I have a friend who tried to tell me she just doesn't care because it's all corrupt. I was thinking "way to go. Just let anyone tell you what to do then."

The borders that I always go to didn't even have the magazine/last issue at all.

So I went to the Relix website to see where I could buy it and they listed 2 stores that I have never even heard of. :?

I had a new roomate for a month and then he dicked out on his rent and took off. he left half his shit including CD's so I sorted through them and kept the ones I wanted. The other ones I just took to the CD store and they bought a bunhc of them and gave me $35 for them. I saw that magazine and picked it up. Looks like I got some new bathroom reading later
