For the last few months we have been developing a Wiki to use for anything and everything related to Pearl Jam. There is obviously a never ending stream of information that will be added to this project. We still have a long way to go, but we figured we would go ahead and make the project publically known so everyone can check out what we've been doing. Eventually, this Wiki could replace some of the other redundant features on TSIS such as the Song Book and the FAQ, etc.

Looks good Eli .
Any chance on having a section for tradeable bootlegs (specifically DVDs)? There has been some discussion in the trading forum lately about having a wiki-style page that can be easily updated as new shows and sources become available. The intent was to curb the amount of requests for recordings that A) don't exist yet, or B) exist but are not trade friendly. Having a resource that can be kept up-to-date by the community would be invaluable.

Possibly, we could add a section on each show page that talks about the sources available and such. I dont see off the top of my head why that wouldnt be a problem.

I'm flipping through it now, very nice work.

it's awesome, but did you really need to use the gayest picture of all-time?

Harnessing the power of the collective knowledge out there about Pearl Jam will create something great. What a super idea, and it's shaping up very nicely so far.
One suggestion I might add is to use the date format of yyyy-mm-dd. It begins with the longest time denomination and proceeds to the smallest, thus making it the most logical for organizational purposes (and we all know how important organization can be, especially on the web).

I thought about that after we already put in several hundred shows. I think it's still going to work fine how we are doing it now....shouldnt be any major problems.

Buggy, you are probably right it won't cause any major problems. I just look at some of the posters, and the way they are named a 10/23 show from 2000 lines up next to the 10/23 show from 2003, etc..
But just in case . . .
I will offer to help change them in the event noone wants to deal with it as I feel strongly about the superiority of this format; I like the way it is on the TSIS setlist archive, and wish db.etree would go this way too. It's like english vs. metric system - we commonly use the english system because it's more familar, but it's not as useful.

Anyway, thanks for the Wiki.
I'm with you in this opinion. I use this format when I'm archiving my digital pictures. However I'm sure the format they're using will be fine.
And I love the wiki so far

fantastic! this thing will be big.
another thing that would be good would be a timeline. a lot of cool facts could be put on that.
