Terrible use of the Pink Floyd song. But the movie looks alright. At this point, I don't think Scorsese will ever achieve something as great as Goodfellas or Raging Bull again though.

Wow, Leonardo DiCaprio again? Cool. I love those director-actor partnerships that keep coming up. Like Scorsese-De Niro made some awesome movies. I think this is the third Scorsese movie that DiCaprio is in, right? Gangs of NY, Aviator, and this. Movie looks good.

Hell of a cast, too. I looked it up on IMDB. Jack, Damon, Leo, Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin, Martin Sheen, and Anthony Anderson, who was awesome as the producer in Hustle and Flow.

100% with you. I hope Scorsese doesn't make any other movies like he did earlier in his career. I liked that he has moved on and tried different things. Don't get me wrong, IMO, he is the best director I have ever seen, but I like something like the Avaitor which just seemed fresh for him.

I also love how "Gimme Shelter" is in every movie from him... that makes me smile.

I didn't care much for The Aviator and Daniel Day-Lewis is the only watchable thing about Gangs of New York but this looks good.

Interesting, I'm the complete opposite with you on this. This movie, only judging by the trailer, looks a bit like any other cop/crime drama. I am hoping I will be surprised and the movie will be great.

I think that was that horrible version with Van Morrison from Roger Waters' The Wall show in Berlin.

When I first read about the cast in this movie I was extremely excited, but after viewing the trailer, not so much. Some of those accents are horrible, and the fact that Nicholson's character is named Frank Costello is downright laughable.

But to be fair, I didn't think The Aviator would be anything special and I ended up loving it.

Leo has made some good movies. Or at least played some good roles. And he's the only person in this list who anyone should even be kind of nervous about. So high hopes, or else.

What's that movie that Leo and De Niro are in, where De Niro is the drunk dad and there's that long, uncomfortable moment where you think he's going to strangle Leo to death. I can't do that shit.

Um, did you notice that Mark Wahlberg is in it?

I hope Scorsese directs Jack in a way that we're not watching Jack be typical Jack.

I've watched The Aviator about a thousand times. I thought it was Scorcese's best movie.

Nothing to be ashamed about. I think it's definitely up there, while some prefer gritty/crime Scorsese.

The Last Waltz is my favorite work of his.

i think the movie is going to be better than this trailer... the trailer seems like they are trying to make it marketable
