Ok so I finally got around to picking up God of War for PS2 and I freaking love it!! Thing is, I almost have the game beat. Can anyone recommend some similar games that I could start working on once this is done?

Shadow of the Colossus is such a great game. visually stunning and unique as fuck. give it a go.
Isn't it great? I really want it to cheapen up so I can buy it and get all the extras with my saved file. What's your favorite one? I either like 13 (the flying one) or the last one best, but lion that topples all the columns is the shit too.

the two flying ones were really impressive. id have to say the bird-like one with the fuck-off massive tail was the ultimate, but the giant flying snake thing wasnt close behind.
any you disliked? those two little dog-like ones were pretty lacking, i thought.
AGRO!

I hated the first little dog, and the one that you have to make step on the water jets. The second dog is cool because of all the toppling and acrobatics and what not.

the one you had to tip up using the water jets was a bastard. i forgot about him. he took the longest of them all at an hour and a half. i spent far too long trying to figure out his weak spot. pretty easy once it becomes clear.

What was the incentive for finishing Shadow of the Colossus?
What do you mean, like extras? You get a time attack mode, and if you beat all those you get a harder time attack mode. The more colossi you beat you get a better sword, whistling arrows, a lance, stuff like that.

What happens at the end? I gave up on SotC after about the fifth level because the bad controls made everything twice as hard as it should be and there was no storyline or interesting gameplay to keep me interested.

The controls can be bad, I'll give you that, but I got used to them.
It's a long ass story and I don't remember all of it, try to find a summary online somewhere. I thought it was more than worth playing the game for.
