Hitting streak extended to 35 on 8/3. Hitting streaks are one of the funnest things to follow after they hit 30...they become an entity of their own in baseball news. No matter who it is, doesn't matter what team, I root for them to extend it....not a Phillies fan at all but I'd love to see Utley get to 40.

chase utley is already my favorite baseball player ever. its nice to see him finally getting some national recognition, he's pretty much been awesome since his first at bat and no one out side of philly knew it. he's like the brian dawkins of the phillies, and most of you know what i think of dawk.
