The solstice took place at 7:42 EST this morning. It's been a beautiful sunny day and also really fucking cold. But I love the changing of seasons.

Read all about the solstice here:

Happy Solstice to all children of the Earth! Keep those yuletide fires burning in your souls all year. Keeping it wild is the way to peace on earth.

which is?

Ekadasi is the eleventh lunar day (Tithi) of the shukla (bright) or krishna (dark) paksha (fortnight) respectively, of every lunar month in the Hindu calendar (Panchang). In Hinduism and Jainism, it is considered spiritually beneficial to observe an (ideally waterless) fast from sunset on the day prior to ekadasi until 48 minutes after sunrise on the day following ekadasi.

Heheh. I think I had a long day yesterday, and it suddenly spilled out into violent rage. I feel much better today. Let's just say I love my woman.
