Man, I really want to visit Arizona to check out this new stadium...
They can actually control the level of the artificial grass. Insane.
The coolest stadium I've ever been to is probably center court at Wimbledon. That was something else. Although the Cowboys' new stadium that is opening in 2009 might make all these other new guys look silly.
So what are some of your favorite stadiums and why? I like some for different reasons. I loved the Vet, but mainly because of memories - as a structure, that place blew. Same kind of deal with Texas Stadium. It's different, and while it may be falling down, that's kind of the charm.

My team, but I've been to 13 different NFL stadiums. Arrowhead is the most exciting place in football to see a game. I also like Cleveland and Denver. Both the teams make me sick, but very passionate, enthusiastic fans.
In baseball, Wrigley is a classic. I'm partial to the beauty of Kaufman. PacBell in S.F. is fancy.
By the way, Tampa and Jacksonville are both boring places to see football, and Shea stadium is a dump.

I loved Pac Bell when I went to a game there a few years back and a couple phone company naming rights ago. I will always love Yankee Stadium due to great memories had there.

Camden
Coors
Jacobs
Camden was the first of the retro parks and it still stands out despite a poor Yankee performance the day I was there. Fans in Coors were weak. The SF park was nice even in my nosebleed seats. Football I only have the Medowlands to reference, most of the time I have had good seats so I can not say it is bad. Would have loved to see the Jets on the West side, Fucking Dolan!

FENWAY = WORST... I'm sick of going to games and having no leg room (and i'm only 5 foot 6) and even worse no shoulder room. the view from most seats is fucking horrible, bathrooms are by far the worst.
Sure this is fine for people who go once a year or once in a lifetime, but otherwise fuck it. The history......... the only argument, the curse is broken, now let's break ground. (where who knows????)
Gillette Stadium I am officially spoiled by. As a season ticket holder I really appreciate the stadium. The old Foxboro stadium was a fucking shithole.

I've been in a few very nice parks. Safeco in Seattle stands out, and despite what Eric thinks, I actually like Miller Park in Milwaukee. But to me, there's no comparison to Yankee Stadium. It's admittedly largely emotional and sentimental, but there is also an echoing of every sound that makes you feel like you're in a museum or a cathedral, and perhaps you are.

neyland stadium - for its location, size and capacity, it is amazing. but otherwise a terrible place to see a game. the seats are by far the most uncomfortable of any that i have ever sat in. absolutely terrible vending services, no beer. its all about going for the game there.
as for my absolute favorite i'd have to go with coors field. lots of stuff to do before the game, etc., great vending and souvenir stands. beautiful at night or day.

I went to Neyland in 2004. The stadium is a dump. The numbers on the seats are about 10 inches apart. There is no leg room. The place is just a bigger version of Legion Field.
It is in a nice location but the place is very very outdated. If most colleges put the seat numbers so close they could increase their capacity by a few thousand as well. Not impressed.
