I don't know if the RM makes this a sticky themself, but I'm making one anyway.
I got pick number 12 again!! I hate pick 12, I had it last year. The draft is August 27th and I have a lot of thinking to do. I'm thinking of picking 2 running backs again back to back like i did last year, and it failed last year, but that is because i picked julius jones and kevin jones.
Here are some options so far....
Running backs: S Alexander, Larry Johnson, LT, Portis, Barber, James, Rudi Johnson, Lamont Jordan, Steven Jackson, Carnell Williams
Wide Outs: Steve SMith, Owens, Chad Johnson, tory holt, harrison, larry fitz, moss, boldin, hines ward, chris cambers.
Should I pick Rb/Rb, or Rb/Wo? I dont need any Palmer or Manning on my team. I'll settle for a Jake Plummer or Jake Delhomme.
Hoping Lamont Jordan and Steven Jackson will be around for my first two picks, or Steven Jackson and Steve Smith.

Jackson and Smith would be some great in back-to-back. How many leagues are you doing? Care to join mine?
I've got my money league draft coming up next week and I've been swaying back and forth between Portis and Tiki at the 4 sopt. I had basically made up my mind on Portis before last night's fiasco.... now I'm wondering what everyone else thinks. League setup is pretty basic, 1/10yds rushing and receiving, 6/td, -2/fumble, no points per carry. Giant fans, do you think Tiki will have another good season or do you think that he'll start his decline this year at 31? Any information/opinions would help... I've also considered taking SJax at 4 but I think that's a bit of a stretch

If you're picking 12th in a 12 team league, you have to get 2 RBs. If you go with a RB/WR you will hate your life when you see what is left for a second starting RB.
The next time you pick in rounds 3/4 you can grab a good WR and either another good WR or aim at somebody like A. Gates.
I've picked 11th or 12th in our 12 team league the last couple of years and I am sick of it. It is cool to have two picks in a row, but waiting for your turn again is agonizing.

why??
sometimes i even think he is a safer pick than lt at #3
A couple reasons.... 1 the defense is suspect and the rushing game will go out the door once they're down early and 2 having to adjust to a new offensive gameplan can take some time not only for the backs but also the linemen. I do like the fact that they play in the easiest division in football though, especially against the run. They have said allready that the team will focus more on SJax and the running game so that is certainly a big plus, I'm just pulling my hair out over this pick

true i guess..i like linehan as a coach..faulk gone..even if they do get down early, he can catch outta the backfield..and if they pass a lot, as long as they get inside the ten they will give him red zone carries
lt2 scares me more..if rivers sucks, the line is getting stacked and hes gettin stuffed for shit (this was my theory with willis and losman last year and it was right)..maybe the chargers liked what they saw in rivers and thats why they let drew go, but its kinda scary (this is the chargers we're talkin about!)..if it comes down to it, ill prob end up takin him at 3, but ill be nervous
oh and shaun alex scares me at #2 also..madden curse!! serioulsy!!

Some advice needed.
In a league where we keep 2 players every year. I won the league last year. Have LJ, Tiki and Gates as my options to keep. Who do I keep out of Tiki and Gates. I have picks 12 and 13 in a 12 team league. Gates will give me such an advantage at TE but no way do I get a second back close to Tiki at 12. I also have to consider keeping the players beyond this season.
In a different league I have to decide between keeping McGahee and Dom Davis, due to Davis' injury problems I am leaning toward McGahee and his shitty O-Line.

I would keep Tiki over Gates. Gates is young, but TEs are so volatile in their production. Rivers may not have the same chemistry with him as well.
DEFINITELY keep McGahee over DDavis. His knee(s) is in BAD shape. McGahee is extremly talented. Buffalo is looking to use him more in the offense this year. He will definitely improve over last season.

Thanks, my thing about Gates over Barber, besides age, is that I think he will end up being River's security blanket out there meaning huge numbers. I will probably end up keeping Barber but have a bad feeling about it.

OK, My keepers are due tonight and I can't decide what to do, I am coming to you guys because this league is for alot of $$.
My league is a 12 team league in which we keep 2 players and in addition keep 1 player that you drafted in the 6th round or later (has to be on your roster all season too).
My one definite keeper is LJ and my late rounder is Plaxico Burress. For my second keeper I have to choose between Tiki Barber, Antonio Gates and Marvin Harrison.
I have the 12th and 13th pick.
Right now I have an offer to trade Tiki and my #12 for #8 and #30. In that case I would keep Gates and LJ, move up 4 spots in the 1st round and get the extra 3rd rounder.
Would any of you make this deal or play it safe and keep Tiki and LJ?
I'm looking at the following list of players to draft in the 1st round depending on keepers:
Edge or Lamont Jordan
Reggie Bush
Dom Davis
Palmer
Willie Parker
Harrison
Owens or Moss
Boldin
C. Johnson
Gates or Barber
Eli
Chambers.

i would keep gates, there's only a few tight ends that can put up wide reciever #s and he's one of them. i also don't think tiki will have the year he had last year. i've heard they will use their big back more so that will take away from tiki's tds.

If i had a chance at Tiki I'd take him. He's always under-valued by people. This is a guy that seems to pop for 180y, 2 TD games all the time.

I need some advice on my third option at RB. Our league plays 2 RBs each week and my starters are Tomlinson and Cadillac Williams. I drafted Dominic Rhodes figuring he would take over the starting job after Edge left, but I've been hearing some buzz that Joseph Addai is going to make an impact this year. I'm thinking about dumping Rhodes in favor of Addai for my backup RB. Here are some other backs still available in free agency:
Jamal Lewis
Tatum Bell
Fred Taylor
Cedric Benson
Ahman Green
Laurence Maroney
Chris Brown
LenDale White
Frank Gore
Ron Dayne
Ladell Betts
Marion Barber
DeAngelo Williams
TJ Duckett
