I like this paper/magazine. It's a good read. It seems like almost every article has an opinion, and they make no effort to seperate op/ed pieces from the rest (by not labeling them), but I don't mind that. It's dense as can be, and slow to get through, but far less watered down than any major newspaper or magazine stateside.

Sailesh is going to own this thread.
I believe that nobody actually subscribes to The Economist. They just steal them from doctors' offices, skim a few articles and then tell people that they read something in The Economist to try to impress their intellectual friends and colleagues.
Isn't that right, Sailesh?

My brother subscribes, and I use his login info for the website.

Yes.
The bill for the next four weeks after your free period is over.
Your hat size will increase by 3/8 for each quarter that you subscribe until no hat will be able to contain your head.
You'll have hot girls fawning all over you.

I already have a big melon and most hats don't fit me. I think I better stop after my free issues.
Read it cover to cover for 4 weeks and then make a decision. Every time I read it cover to cover, I feel like I'm good to make decent conversation on a bunch of topics. Seriously, it's by far the best magazine you could get, if you're interested in world politics, economic and financial news, and some science and arts.
