In their albums of the year, this blurb appears in best "best ofs" of the year...

9 PJ - RVM

Forget the Nirvana box-set, this is the grunge compilation worth owning.

While i do appreciate that PJ is on the list, I cannot overlook the fact the Def Leppard is higher on said list.

The mag is very retro, so it's surprising that such a current act as PJ is on the list. It's articles are mostly on classic albums and old stories, which I enjoy.

It's reissues of the year were..

1. Deep Purple - Burn
2. Manic Street Preachers - The holy Bible
3. The Who - Tommy
4. Megadeth - The Reissues
5. The Clash - London Calling

Album of the year

1. Velvet Revolver - Contraband
2. Alter Brigde - One Day Remains
3. Aerosmith - Honkin on Hobo
4. Young Heart Attack - Mouthful of Love
5. Brides of Destruction - Here Comes the Brides
