If he wasn't jogging his lazy ass down the line they may have actually awarded him a hit on that cue shot he hit down the first base line that handcuffed the pitcher. That thing had crazy spin on it.

i am confident that this thread had no effect on him not getting a hit today. i've never been a 'knock on wood' kind of guy anyway though, people always yell at me during sporting events when i say stuff and then don't do the knock, but people are stupid.
