Couldn't find a thread on this. AOL mistakenly posted millions of its users search queries on the internet. While there was no personally identifying data, each user was given a random number so all searches by a single person/account are in there. Anyway, I found a database-driven version of the data, where you can type in a term and see what kind of searches people were doing. You can also sort by user, so you can see what the same depraved sicko was looking at. I didn't dig too deep, but I heard there's some really bizarre shit in there, like how to turn people into steaks and eat them .

numbers would still allow everyone from law enforcement to identity thieves to analyze an individual's searches, which could involve names, addresses and other subjects that could provide hints to their identities.
