I dont know how many of us are located in the Sunshine State but I really would like to discuss this issue.

Jeb is term-limited out and, despite the fact that he legislated my ass out of employment, I really liked how well the economy did under his leadership. This was in no small part due to Tom Gallagher's work as Chief Financial Officer. Having said that I think our social progress has stagnated under Republican control and, furthermore, Tom Gallagher is not a pleasant individual, period. Charlie Christ was an alluring candidate until I recieved his propoganda espousing his support of "core family values" and anti-abortion rhetoric.

So I am left to decide between Rod Smith and Jim Davis. Rod Smith is a swindler of the highest caliber who will finance his re-election through the welfare-state thus evaporating Floridas budget surplus of $3.5 Billion last year (thats right, we have less taxes then most and a budget surplus, how many of you have a budget surplus? Exactly.)

To be honest, I have no idea what the fuck Jim Davis would do, but I am leaning towards him as the most attractive candidate just because I do not despise him.

Anyone informed enough on the election to help me out here?

I absolutely loath Jeb Busch, he has single handedly destroyed the adoption agency. Privatizing has given jobs to people who have little to no knowledge of what they are doing and due to the requisite training that has been required, it has actually cost more money. Meanwhile, the lives of children are ruined daily as they are nothing more then fodder for these political battles.

Education has slowly eroded as well, funding as been siphoned away as Jeb plays to the growing Latino population.

I don't like my states political options and I see myself not voting once again.

I have nothing constructive to add to this thread. :(

All I know is that Rod Smith is a very cool name.

In what fucking way is this a copout? I'm not going to compromise my damn vote by voting for some slimy little piece of shit.
