I think the best uniforms belong to the Big Ten. Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State all having awesome unis. Although Northwestern needs to just go back to the drawing board.
I think the SEC has some cool uniforms, too, but half of the teams have maroon as the main color (Miss St, Arkansas, Alabama, South Car).
I think the PAC 10 has the worst. Oregon is the worst in college football, Oregon St is ugly, Arizona State is terrible and Washington State needs a complete overhaul. USC is the only good uniform out there and I still don't really like the color combo. UCLA will never be taken seriously as long as they continue to wear baby blue. California needs to lose the all navy blue from head-to-toe look.
Thoughts?

I think you hit this right on the nail. Seriously, what Nike's done in Eugene is an utter disgrace.

The crazy thing is I usually like what Nike does with football uniforms, but those Oregon ones are just a joke. I mean, if I was being recruited to play football by Oregon or another PAC 10 team, I would have to choose the other team, just based on the sight of those uniforms.

I'd have to agree with the Big Ten. School's like Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan just have utterly classic unis.
While I personally love UT's uniforms, I realize I'm biased, and some of the other Big XII teams are pretty lacking. So yeah, Big Ten. But USC's are classic too, I don't know how anyone could dislike cardinal and gold. But once again, I'm probably just biased.

Big Ten, hands down. As mentioned, you've got the classics in PSU, UofM, and OSU. But the majority of the rest of the conference has very sharp, yet simple, attractive unis.

ironically enough the reason why they change unis so much is to get recruits. and yes, UCLA uni's are an abonination upon this Earth and USC has the best unis in the Pac-10.

It is funny when people ask a question on this board about college football everyone think their conference is the best. We could be takling about linebackers, stadiums, or uniforms everyone is a homer for their own conference or school. So the SEC has the best. Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, and Tenn. ARE classic. But the rest of the conference has very sharp, yet simple, attractive uniforms.
Northwestern, Iowa, and Minn. are far from attractive.

no program has better a uniform than michigan, which basically carries the big ten to victory all by itself.

I personally can't stand Texas' uniforms. It has nothing to do with rivarly or whatever. It's just an awful, awful shade of orange. But that's just me.

I agree, if you replaced UofM with Penn State. The Nittany Lions have the best uniforms in all of college sports, and possibly all sports, in my opinion.

I said majority, 3 isn't a majority.
But I agree with your sentiments about everyone being a homer.
