I think the case with the 8 year old is pretty crazy too. She had sex with an 8 year old boy and got pregnent? What are the chances of two 8 year olds getting together for sex in the first place, and then for both of them to be able to reproduce at such a young age?! Crazy.
This 5 year old story bothers me though because of the family dynamics of it all not to mention the obvious rape/pedophile actions. Plus the sight of a 5 year old who's pregnent is disturbing, especially given the fact that my niece is almost 5.

I assume you're talking about the one you quoted above, which didn't show up for me on this computer until I went back to the link. I got the same feeling reading through those articles from 39', no mention of how the child got pregnent in the first place. I think the whole story favors the details of the medical aspects of a 5 year old being pregnent. It does at least make this mention which to me shows that at least there was concern over how this child became pregnent.
