Last night Bruce Dickinson interviewed Ed, Matt and Jeff on his show Masters of Rock. You can listen to it here:

Didn't work.

You need to have real player to listen to BBC Radio 2. If you don't, it won't work

Ed used the word blessed, never heard it from him before. Just an observation. not that it matters.

So THAT's what he says right there? I've never been able to understand that part, and I've seen that skit countless times.

WWS, STBC, Once, Big Wave, Severed Hand and Neil Young's Peace and Love all played (from the album recordings). Not whole tunes, just short clips from each tune to give you an idea of them

It was a recorded interview, who knows from when. Just features soundbytes from the three explaining the new record politics influences love of vinyl etc.

...and because it's something that doesn't matter, I'm going to weigh in! :D
In the Monkeywrench Radio II broadcast, after Mudhoney played, Ed says something like "Mudhoney. Blessed...to have them here...in my humble opinion. Here's a song." ...and then it's "Sandy" by WWC. This is all from my highly questionable memory...but I know he used the word "blessed", and I remember the first time I heard it thinking "Hmm...it seems a bit odd to hear that word coming from Ed, but in a cool way."
There. Now I have contributed something positive to the world. I can spend the rest of my day playing video games.
