How can one be in the latest fashion trend without overstepping the line. It seems impossible to be fashionable these days without crossing some type of boundary.

true fashion is timeless and doesn't step over any lines. a cashmere v-neck sweater, flat front chinos, and some Steve Maddens were fashionable years ago and they still are. don't confuse "fashion" for "trends," friend.

The problem is that it is impossible to know what will still be popular years from now, or even months from now.
