...yet they don't have anybody high in the polls for the all-star game?

Is this a result of big-named players being on crappy teams? Are the big-name players not really as good as everybody thinks?

I must have been about 12 years old or so the last time the Suns looked this dominant.

the allstar game has nothing at all to do with how good someone is, but who the fans want to see, hence you have had grant hill and vince both voted to start when both were injured for a major portion of the season before

nash and amare will be robbed if they arent added, i honestly cant think of a point guard in the west who is playing better than nash

I always hated KJ, but Tom Chambers was one of my favorites.

I'd throw Rex Chapman into the mix as well.....

Chambers barely had to jump, he was what... 6'10"? Chapman was an artist.

i remember on Sega's Bulls vs Lakers, Tom Chambers could dunk from the 3 point line....2 handed!

for that he belongs in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Chambers had a huge height advantage over Rex.........and on THAT dunk, he was clearly aided by the player underneath him.

i dont remember who it was, but one day i was watching nbatv and tom chambers was running the middle on a fastbreak and the defender was right under the basket, trying to take a charge, all of a sudden chambers just goes right above him for the dunk. that was one of the best dunks i ever seen 8)

Pheonix is a great team, no doubt. I just don't think they are deep enough with their style of play to do it during playoff time. The Sonics are right there with them. I think they will battle somewhere in the playoffs and it's gonna be a classic series. It's gonna be tough to stop Duncan. He's even more insane during the playoffs. I think the Sonics or Suns fall to SA in the conference finals. As a Sonics fan i'm just happy that the team is legit and i'll be in the middle of this during the playoffs. They are real as are the Suns. I just don't see either team being able to overtake Duncan and crew when it comes playoff time. I think the T-Wolves are middle of the pack, Dallas isn't as strong as their record, the Rapists are all one player, Denver gets slapped around too much on the road, the west is there for the taking. Go Sonics
