It is weird though, living in LA has opened my eyes to just how many different South American immigrant groups there are. I'll meet 5 of my friend Ed's hispanic friends, and none of them will originate from the same place.

And it's not like Austin isn't diverse, just that the overwhelming majority of Hispanics there are from across the border. I met a few Peruvians and Argentinians in Houston, though.
