Nah, the Pirates movies are Johnny Depp movies that Orlando Bloom was in. Very few people went to see Bloom in the Pirates movies. He's just lucky to find himself in two big series.

oh, you're cleverly ignoring the masses. shocking, indeed.
isn't it clearly the worst movie on that list?

so you're pointing out that this list had a worst movie on it?
i'm saying it's clearly the worst movie on that list, and i consider that it shouldn't be in the top 25 grossing movies of all time.
however, in remembering it came out on independence day weekend, i can see why it grossed what it did.
do we need to go any further here?

That's damn good for a man with barely a shred of acting talent. To take him down another peg, he was hardly the drawing factor in either of those franchises. He's just a pretty man in the right place at the right time.
I agree that i have no use for him outside of middle earth.

i don't think you can justify it using the movies you pointed out. he's up there for LOTR because...well..it's LOTR, duh. and i'm pretty sure more people go to see Johnny Depp in the pirate movies than they do Bloom.
and like someone already mentioned, outside of an action flick his acting skills fall short.
