They should re-check them, because they're skewed and not entirely accurate. Ford Field in Detroit has been sold out for every game, yet the survey only lists the attendance at 90%. In fact, the stated average attendance is 2,000 more than capacity. What they're doing is factoring in the Pontiac Silverdome, which had a capacity over 80,000, but which hasn't been used for 6 years. They need to update their samples, because several teams have new stadiums that would boost their numbers.

Pats had no chance in this... A team had to suck, have poor as shit fans, and a small population. I know the Pats have been sold out since Kraft bought the team, But I guess they base it on attendance... 98.66 out of 100 fans who bought the tickets showed up for the game.. honestly what would be the difference between 96, 97,98, or 99 out of 100 showing up?
But hey... I'll take 3 Super Bowls, while you other fans jack off over this.
On a side note the Dolphins should be automatically disqualified since they don't sell out playoff games.

It's stupid to factor in median income and December temperature when both of those things are out of the teams' control.
Winning percentage is a bit sketchy as well. I can see credit given to losing teams, but it shouldn't come at the expense of continuously successful franchises (yes, I realize the Broncos have the best percentage in the past decade. ).
The Packers, Chiefs, Broncos, Cowboys, and Eagles all seem about right. Maybe put the 'Skins a little higher and the Bills and Browns a little lower.
And I know HTT will hate this, but the Steelers are waaaaaay too low. An excellent factor to add would be how many of a team's fans attend away games. Last I heard, the Chargers weren't trying to force Browns fans to buy tickets to two other San Diego games as well.
No complaints with the Raiders in the cellar, though!

I'm a Chiefs fan, so I like seeing us #2. I've been to a Browns game, and no doubt they care. But Texans fans being #7?? That is silly. Been to 2 Texans games. Got a ticket in club level for $10 and a beer last year. Seriously.

Also, for the record (not like I'm proud of it), the Detroit Lions have had the worst winning percentage of any NFL team in the past 5 years. They've had 4 head coaches in the span. Yet they still sell-out every game. I don't know if it's blind loyalty or stupidity.
the Giants have one of the longest waiting lists for season tickets in pro sports. How can they be at 96.44% capacity?

I remember as early as 1999 walking up to the box office on gameday and scoring great seats to the dolphins game. we did that like 10 years in a row @ foxborough

Attendence only does not accurately show fan loyalty. I know plenty of people who couldn't afford to go to a game if they could even get a ticket. Those people are some of the biggest fans I know and loyal as you can be to a team.

Eh? They were in the Super Bowl 5 years before that, the fans were/are quite affluent and the team isn't far from Boston which has a large population.
