Yeah, I knew someone would bring that up. Say what you will, but I find it to be a very honest, very funny romantic comedy. Honesty is a rare thing to come by in that genre.

Seeing "The Life Aquatic" listed above "The Royal Tenenbaums" made this list null and void.

Nah. I enjoy The Life Aquatic about five thousand times more than The Royal Tenenbaums. And I really like The Royal Tenenbaums.

For about 95% of the movie, I too found it to be pretty honest. But Ben Affleck's last proposal (you know what I mean -- I just don't want to give the ending away)...bullshit. Complete and utter bullshit.

I guess we are bound to disagree. I enjoyed The Life Aquatic, but believe it's subpar or worse compared to Royal.

Well, yeah, but that's just Smith throwing in his trademark Smith crudeness. You knew it had to come in somewhere.

And I mean, the "What's a nubian?" line made the movie worth it. That was classic.

Just bought the Dazed And Confused set. 2 discs of bliss (hence the moniker). Haven't seen that many CC's yet, but this and Fear And Loathing are my fav's so far.

Yeah, non-stop cartoonish gunplay does nothing for me.

The Passion of Joan of Arc is probably better than most of the movies already mentioned.
