First no hitter in the majors since Randy Johnson's perfect game in 2004. Congrats to the 22 year old rookie.

Just to throw in a little added trivia, he becomes the 4th Marlins pitcher to accomplish the feat. The others are Al Leiter, Kevin Brown & AJ Burnett. It's amazing that the young Marlins franchise has 4 no hitters while the Mets, with all the great pitcher they've had, still have none.

the Mets thing is pretty crazy when you think about all the guys who've left them and thrown no-hitters.

Kind of wierd that he does it on the same day that the last person to throw one, Randy Johnson, does the same thing for six innings.

I wouldn't gloat, man. When you look at who we gave away vs. who we got in that deal, it sure looks like the Marlins were the smart ones and we were smoking the whacky-tabacky.

Josh Beckett will have a better career than Sanchez. Keep reading Shaugnessey

Who knows. Besides, remember back in February we had TOO MUCH starting pitching.

that's certainly very possible. I can't decide what's funnier: the Sox fans who see no evil and think this is all part of "Theo's master plan", or the ones who think he's terrible and 2004 was a fluke. As always, the truth is somewhere in the middle.
