I feel this needs a new thread because the old thread I made went nowhere. This wasn't supposed to be out until Saturday during halftime, but it has made it to the internet. I know I am biased, but this is one of the most moving trailers I've seen.

It looks like typical Hollywood cheese but I'll go see it anyway.

Eh, I truly don't see any Hollywood cheese to it even if it has Matthew Mcconaughey. This is a story that blows Rudy out of the fucking water, and that's not taking anything away from Rudy.

Better stories have been turned into worse movies (Glory Road), so I'll have to see this one before I make any kind of verdict on it. Looks good enough to drop some dough on, at least.

are people really getting that trailer to work? it just keeps buffering for me. stops after roughly 3 seconds.

Completely agreed. You'd have to pay me a boatload of money to see that shit.

Well, yeah. But I don't see what that has to do with anything. It's not like BM is the greatest movie ever made or anything.

I'll go see it, for obvious reasons.

I really hope they end up doing the premiere at the Keith Albee.

They are, but it's going to be about $1,000 per ticket.

Also according to the news tonight, the focus group that watched it scored it higher than any Warner Brothers movie in the last ten years.

What does that have to do with anything?

I'm sorry, but movies do not come any more mediocre than this.
