Is it just me, or are the sounds that go with any graphics changes on Fox annoying anyone else.

I won't mute it because I do enjoy the noises of the game, but everytime a robotic noise happens with a change of downs or anything of that nature is just grating me. It is the second worse sound next to the commentary.

These graphics people are out of control. Invest less money on graphics and put it all into getting more cameras on the field.

Fox's game presentation is terrible. Everything from the football transformers to the click-whirr sound effects. This is why I like what NBC is doing with their presentation; it's subdued and classy.

the thing that bothers me the most is the colored down and yards arrow every single play...the only graphic that is needed is the first down line

they should take a lesson from the CBC. Both hockey and football coverage is excellent, with minimal distractions and gimmicks.

For the first 3 quarters I thought one of the noises was fake crowd noise. I finally realized it was another sound effect. It is more than annoying, to the point that I turned off the sound and turned on the local radio broadcast of the game.

I wish I could do this, but the television broadcast is on a 2-3 second delay, and it's annoying hearing the play predicted before seeing it happen.

For a year it was like that here but their thing now is "Turn down the TV and Turn on WYSP for the game" so they sync it up.

and find camera people who can actually follow the play..... Geez either the camera work in the Falcons/Panthers game was awful, or the director is just a moron, they missed the end of at least 2 plays.

 I love when the cameraman gets faked by play action

Yeah, that was the problem here in Pittsburgh as well, up until a few years ago, they finally sync'd it up and now they are perfect.

FOX's graphics, and especially the sound effects, have been annoying me for 10 years. By now I should have just gotten used to them, right? The fact that they keep changing them and I'm STILL annoyed by them speaks volumes.

I like how CBS is doing their scoreboard. They aren't cluttering it with 8,000 fantasy stats, just showing the scores of other games at the bottom. I'm sick of all this fantasy bullshit. I feel like punching all these assholes at the bar that just watch cause of their fantasy team. One guy last year was wearing a Manning jersey and claimed to be a Colts fan. Then he proceeded to root for a Fred taylor TD when the Jags were playing the Colts. I screamed at him for about 2 minutes and threatened to rip off his jersey and/or throw beer on it. He left and I haven't seen him back since. Just a warning to all you fantasy geeks, shut your trap and stay out of the bar where i'm watching the games

That last post of mine made me laugh out loud for a solid minute. I highly recommend getting drunk on a Monday night.
