Okay, yeah...but it's intentionally being abstract. That's what modern art is, it's more about content than it is about form, the form is completely stripped away. I mean, you really want to get into the last painting (which is actually my favorite Miro), what is the significance of the color blue, the red stripe, the black dots? One way to look at it, for example, is as a peaceful monotony that is being broken, and rather violently. You're not supposed to see a person or a persepctive of a physical existence, it represents something. It's supposed to offer a divine representation and that is ultimately what all art does. Other than entertain, of course. And it entertains me.

I was just giving you a hard time. I was over at this girls apartment a couple weeks ago and she had a very abstract, and interesting modern art painting hanging on her wall and I asked her if she actually understood it. She just looked at me blankly for about a minute before saying that she couldn't really explain it. You on the other hand, actually get something out of it, so it's cool. I just don't like people that hang it on a wall in the hopes of coming off as this deep, art inclined individual. It's good shit though.

My mother bought a framed Miro print at a garage sale or something from a person who thought it was a reproduction, but it turned out to be a numbered original.
