I actually had to turn their pregame show off because of how annoying Irvin was and his constand arguing with Jackson. I then turned on FOX and had to turn that up because first the "quick hits" segment sucked then they had a mock field setup in the parking lot.

I think Irvin's a pretty likable guy, but he whips my ass when he's at the desk. I cringe everytime it's his turn to speak, because I know he's going to make an animated ass out of himself.

What was wrong with his opinion on Eli vs. Manning? Maybe I'm retarded too, because I agree with him....

I care nothin gabout his opinion, he's just so goddamn over the top whenever he speaks. Dial it down a bit, Mike, and we may pay attention to what you actually have to say.

I didn't see anything wrong with his opinion on that matter.

I hate to say it, but I agree with Chris and parchy. That doesn't mean that Irvin hasn't said some stupid things in the past, though.

I think it is how he says it. I didn;t used to liek him in the past but I have grown to kind of like him. Sometimes, when he speaks, it does seem like he is retarded, or on something. I think it is apparent that TJ doesn't have much patience for him.

Let's give Michael a break and factor in the amount of blow he does before going on the air.

I don't think Jackson's 'retarded' comment was aimed at his delivery, though. He followed up 'are you retarded' with a counterpoint on the Eli-Peyton game. Now if they were behind closed doors and somebody got a sound bite of the guy shittalking Mike, that would make more sense.

Merrill Hoge is definitely mentally retarded, but not Irwin.
