I know this has been discussed before (maybe it was on the old board?), but was it ever determined where this statue is located? I remember reading it is somewhere in Italy. Anyone? Anyone?

Ok,
I got a message today from my best friend today who is in Rome for a couple of days. The statue is indeed in Rome, near the Coliseum. I'll see pictures of it when she returns on Friday. I'll see it in real life in september. 8)
