Because, peeps. Evolution has given us instincts to protect our own species. Without them our species would become extinct. It's a protection mechanism that we have built up over time. It's only wrong becuase our society and culture say it's wrong. It's only wrong as a construct in our own minds.
Just PM me if you need anymore standard RM answers.

Because it's taking something from someone that's not mine to take ... unless said someone is trying to take mine, of course. Then all bets are off.
Oh wait, I mean, because God said it's wrong. Now pardon me while I read Exodus-Leviticus.
That doesn't really answer it though. Why is it wrong for you to take something from someone else? If you take it, it's yours. What is wrong with that?
I'm just being a pain in the ass. Please don't get all arguey.

Killing someone is not always wrong. You need to give some sort of hypothetical situation for anyone to be able to answer that question; ie: Someone is about to try and kill me and I have no choice.

It's wrong in the sense in that we have constructed societal norms that villify murder. I would say these social norms are quite positive.
Plus as humans we have empathy. We can feel pain when we have a loved one die. So we can think hmmm it hurt me when my nana died, so I probably should not kill Peeps' nana. Plus I'm sure nana would feel pain as well.
Also we do not eat eachother so under "natural law" it'd be wrong to slay someone for no tangible purpose. Anger, greed, jealousy, etc do not count.

animals fight when other animals invade their territory
why is killing wrong? because unless you are a star trek character, death is the final extinguishing of life, and i do not feel qualified to make the determination of who/what should be finally extinguished.
there are exceptions, i.e. self defense or family defense.
because of this way i feel about death, i am slowly but surely becoming a vegetarian. i can't stand to squish bugs, my house is filled with plants that i rescued from other people who tried their best to kill them. i apologize to my lawn when i mow it. i hate pruning my trees, i feel like i am cutting off their arms.
i was digging weeds the other day (i don't feel as bad for weeds because they always end up living no matter what i do ) and i sliced a slug in half by mistake . i had to go inside to collect myself.
