I think this movie should be awesome, Nolan hasn't missed, all his movies since memento, have been great. Plus this movie doesn't seem to have any cgi, which makes it look even better.

I bet you it has plenty of CGI, just not apparent CGI.
I can't wait for this, Nolan is an incredible filmmaker. Batman Begins is actually my least favorite of his films.

Yah, I saw it Friday night. Overall, I thought it was good. It wavers about 2/3 of the way through and picks up again at the end. Bowie was pretty cool to see on screen. Bale and Jackman had their moments, but not their best performances. Definitely a well crafted film and the cinematography evokes Jules Verne industrial gothic imagery.
And the science nerd in me couldn't help but see the allusions to Edison and Tesla in the story. Edison knew how to apply the science and sell it (Jackman's character, Angier) where as Tesla, by some, is regarded as the better scientist but couldn't sell his science (Bale's character Borden).

As patrick points out, it is a well crafted film and I have yet to be disappointed by anything that Bale does. The Prestige (I love the title) does, however, leave the viewer a little cold.
