I remember being in some crap bar in Columbia maybe 2 years ago with literally nothing maybe 5 bucks on a Parlay, just drinking with my buddy and I'm seconds away from making $125 on it to pay the bar tab and the Jets couldn't cover 10pts on the 49ers who were awful at the time, and some jackass goes....hey man you always gotta take the points like I was stupid.....Yeah I don't think that guy wins a lot. I was a field goal away from winning a pick 5 parlay but I'm stupid because I didn't take the pathetic awful 49ers and 10 pts over the Jets who were actually decent at the time?

hey Clubber and other gamblers... do you have friends who won't bet you on anything... even when you know you are giving them the better odds, it's like they always think you are up to something or have some tip... it sucks


i'm talking about like sitting around watching a game and you don't have a bet, so you just say, "hey, let's put twenty on this" or whatever... to friends who don't mind gambling, but aren't gamblers per se

The $200 put up for each member of the fantasy fball league I'm in is real.

If people are douchebags, they're gonna be douchebags, whether it be vis a vis fantasy football or gambling or street fights. You should start a thread about straight-up douchebags instead of focusing on fantasy football bringing out that douchelike behavior.

I understand what you're saying but i think my point is valid as well. When douches at the bar are cheering louder about their fantasy players than people rooting for "their" team, then there's a problem. I'm also sick of hearing fantasy banter for 6 straight hours during the games. My wife puts up $200 every year for her fantasy team and even she knows the nuances of cheering. It's just common sense that these douches don't have. I haven't fought in like 5 years cause it's usually stupid and pointless, but if i have to deal with ultra-fantasy nerds this Sunday i'm gonna lose it and somebody is getting hit....multiple times. And i'm good friends with the bar owner so i know i won't get kicked out. Plus i spoke to him about this last week and he was all for beating up fantasy nerds. Basically, don't go to Grizzlies in bay Shore if you want to go bananas about your fantasy team
