Yes they can. They will then lose in the series, as would any other NL team.

If Houston makes it in, they make it to the series again.

If not, it's between LA and NY, and when in doubt, bet against Grady Little.

I just read the news. I thought you were just referring to the Met's awful pitching/Pedro's downfall. I didn't realize he was done for the playoffs.

ill be the biggest Astros fan if they make the playoffs even though i cant stand clemens.. the MO they will have will be incredible.. 20x better than the teams coasting into octoboer

I'd say at least 50% of people mistakenly say could care less instead of couldn't, probably more. Pet peeve of mine as well.

I never panic, we haven't had him in two months. I will take my chances with Duke, Glavine Traschel & Maine. Our bullpen is our strength .It really doesn't matter cause like I have been saying....

but yeah, Pedro is falling apart. They are lucky enough to have EL Duque and Glavine who are aging but have been great playoff pitchers in the past.
