why the fuck does anyone ever listen to dj's anyway? i dont understand. they dont know shit. how would they? because they got a job at a radio station that doesnt eve play pearl jam, that pearl jam NEVER visits, does any promo's for. its a fucking radio station.i worked for one, it aint hard. holy shit people. Calm down junior, I was just a little board last night and was reading that post and I liked what Kat had to say about NEXT YEAR. All she said was there are good things to come, that is the only reason why I started this thread. Obviously every fucking DJ is a joke and don't know shit, and yeah, most people on these message boards know more than them.

The "good things" that are probably going to happen next year is the release of their 8th studio album. I'm one of the ones that thinks that they won't go on tour until 2006.

About the "tour starting at MSG" is the funniest thing I have ever heard. So fucking rediculous, people believe whatever little jonny at synergy has to say all the time. They believe whatever they read. Until you hear it from the mods at synergy, or on the official website, OR THE BAND THEMSELVES. I don't believe a fucking thing.

I am curious if a DJ has ever know info before us on the board or other boards? Other than the release of radio singles, I think we have the upperhand in getting rumors and info.

Oh, we definately do. Here in Pittsburgh, they announced the Benaroya release days after we found out here.

Exactly. This "rumor" was on college radio. I have been working at a College radio station for 4 years. You can say pretty much anything you want on College radio, so it's very easy to start rumors.
When I first saw it, I knew it was a crock; what do commercial radio DJs know about PJ, but when I heard it was a college station, I knew it was definitely BS

college radio djs are the ultimate evil. just talking to hear themselves talk and without any connection to the actual industry making them the least qualified.
