BUT until Florida shows signs of weakness, they are the team to beat. Of course, I like our chances with our depth and All-American Tyler Hansbrough. He'll actually get to rest this season.
Oh, and Tubbs, I get to be Rudy again in under two weeks.
they'll probably be a pre-season top 10. Hibbert may go in the lottery.

Longhorns had a very nice recruiting class. Unfortunately, they have almost zero returning after Aldridge, Tucker, and Gibson decided to bail.
I think they'll be an 8-9 seed in the tournament. It would be nice if Durant stuck around for two years but I don't expect that to happen. Augustin will be the best PG we've had since TJ left. Rumor is Barnes is planning to implement a Phoenix Suns style offense. Should be exciting to watch.

Meh, let me know in January how NCAA hoops going. In the meantime, I find no interest in teams from power conferences mopping up with Division II teams in November and December. It's like pre-season football in the NFL -- very few meaningful games.
Should be interesting to see high school's all-time leading scorer on the court for the Bears this season. We're going to have one of the toughest guard tandems in the conference.

it was a tough call, but i won't be bashing much on the Illini this year... too easy a target
and the reason i was thinking about the schedule was because last night my buddy was talking about how pissed he was that he won't see them play anyone worth a shit other than Maryland during the non-conference season, even though his season tix package jumped up another $100+
