Probably cause they don't feel like it. It doesn't seem like many bands play songs by their contemporaries for some reason.

I'm sure if they wanted to cover a song they would. But they only really seem to cover a select number of songs.

i don't really think ed would be able to do AIC vocals.

and i thought someone told me that back in 98 they practiced a few soundgarden songs but never ended up playing them live.

Or maybe Ed and Matt singing No excuses together. That would be so cool.

Plush would be sweet. He could do that amazingly.

Plus it's about a random person a la jeremy and why go.

It would be uber gay or pearl jam to cover other "grunge" bands.

05/10/06 - Air Canada Centre, Toronto, CAN
soundcheck:It Ain't Like That (Alice In Chains, partial), In Hiding, You Are, Low Light, World Wide Suicide, Wasted Reprise

This year. I got confused because it's in Toronto.

I think they have done smells like teen spirit. which the mere idea sounds retarded.

maybe the nixons... anyone remember them? "sister" sounded an aweful lot like black to me when I was younger. or maybe it was closer to plush.

how about some clash tunes? they already do a great version of know your rights.
