Has anyone else seen the commercial with Eddie and Stone talking about the environment? It's got 2 people from a bunch of bands like Rusted Root and Death Cab for Cutie. I saw it on MTV and think it's an official MTV commercial but am not sure.

My comp won't let me view the clip but from the title that looks like it might be it.

I saw it yesterday morning before school. Pretty awesome but does anyone who watches MTV 2 really know who PJ are?

yeah but planes are flying around all the fucking time anyway man, they just hoped on one and flew to where they needed to go to make this ad. Of course planes are not good for the environment, but what are they supposed to do.

I don't think planes are the enemy.

They work out how much pollution they create and donate money or buy a forest or something to the equivilant so at least they are trying, i think its a bit hard to be critical of them. If they didn't catch a plane how would I see them in Australia?

no i think Pearl Jam is doing all they possibly can for the this.
but i just mean in general.
I'm tired of people like Al Gore telling me to cut down on things i can barly afford,
while he's sleeps in a home with five Air conditioners running lights on all night and automatic sprinklers.
do you guy's know what i mean?

Well, he's already his own kind of DJ--Monkeywrench. But, yeah...lovely speaking voice that unfortunately contributes a lot to global warming through melting panties by raising human temperatures and pulses. Ed should be ashamed of himself for a good chunk of the heated situation on this planet!

His entreaty for us to "think" is not working very well, is it?

As far as the Al Gore comment I don't know how he lives his life or what he owns so I think it would be unfair of me to instantly call him a hypocrite.
