I can't believe there hasn't already been a thread made for this movie. This little gem from the 90's is one of my favorites of all time. I just happened to see it on one of the movie channels the other day and it reminded that I should have this on DVD. Guy Pearce gives a top notch performance as usual, and the acting from the rest of the cast is also surprisingly good. Robert Carlyle plays a great cannibal and steals the show as far as I'm concerned. A great score also provides the perfect backdrop for this film. Anyone else care for this movie?

I saw this in the theatre and thought it was great. Has a great soundtrack. Haven't seen it in years though, might have to go back to check it out

I'll give it points for being interesting.

It's okay. Not the best cannibal movie out there, though.

Did you know that the score was co-written by Damon Albarn of Blur?

i thought the cannibalism was played out very well without getting too gory.

That's a good thing?

i just think the film wasn't intended to be a total gore fest. although it would be interesting to see what kind of hype it would have gotten around release time if it had been super gory.

I don't know...it just never really reached the heights it could have. A great premise and cast...and then it just sort of ends. The film was such a ridiculous comedy anyway, they might as well have thrown in some crazy gore. I dunno.
