Thanks to tivo, I'm now able to watch this again. Still funny, but . . . it's like Teletubbies for adults. He says or does the same things in every show. 13 years now.

It's true he does have a little routine/quirks that are often repeated throughout the show. It can get a bit annoying at times but I still think he's the funniest man on television.

I think he can get away with it because of his time slot. Not a lot of people, except for the ones that really love him (like me), watch him every day. I don't know if he'll get away with all his little tendencies and repeated jokes once he takes Leno's spot and more people watch him more often, because it's an earlier time. I agree that he is the funniest man on television. Steve Carrell gets 2nd place.

I stopped watching routinely after Andy Richter left.

When I used to watch him routinely, I'd get annoyed at how he would handle interviews where at times he would go on and talk a lot about himself instead of the guest. I don't know if he still does that or not.

Conan's self loathing is part of his schtick. It can be tiresome but I still love him.

SNL is funnier than leno, and SNL blows

I stopped watching Conan for quite a while because it was getting so routine. The Frankenstein bit every single night for about a year straight really turned me off of the show. Lately though, it's been excellent. The writing's been much edgier, more original, and has taken more chances. The bit with all the scumbags that Republicans were labeling as Democrats cracked me up, especially with Leatherface at the end.

yeah I saw this one too, it was hilarious. Also they had movie people playing politicians.

Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite will be playing Condoleeza Rice.
