This is the new showtime show.. ive watched the first 3 episodes and really like it.. it's a good CSI IMO
anyone else following it?
I did when I got Showtime Free that Colombus weekend. I cuaght the first to episodes and they where pretty good. Dexter is actually kind of funny, like when he sees the body all chopped up with no blood, its like watching a five year old kid come across a new toy. Also I thought it was a pretty intresting concept of having a serial killer be stalked by another serial killer, never seen that before. I'll probably end up renting it when it comes out on dvd.
yeah, whats the deal with this show... is the guy a cop... a killer? Do the other cops know he's a killer? I saw a commercial for it but wasnt really paying attention...

he works forensics for Miami PD.. he's had a fasination with killing his whole life.. his dad was a well known cop also and taught him the ways
so now he picks out people who deserve to be killed and completes the perfect murder.. if people are let out of prison early or get off easy he takes care of them
there is a serial killer who is killing a lot of prostitutes and playing tricks with him (dexter) he goes into dexter's apartment and plants stuff

I'm really enjoying this show. I just hope that it stays within reason and doesn't go the path of "Nip Tuck" with a plot that is too out there, which it looks like the show Dexter might be capable of doing. But so far, so good.

I Haven't caught episode 4 yet.. id never watched SIX Feet Under but Dexter has introduced me to it...
Six Feet Under is just a brillant show. Give it a shot, hopefully you will like it. Michael C. Hall's character as David Fisher is much much different than the one in Dexter, so that is always interesting to watch.

I found that 4 and 5 lag in the beginning, then pick up for the last 2 discs or so. As you can imagine, the last few episodes of 5 are pretty amazing.

the 2nd episode was interesting, already got the 3rd....ill watch it tomorrow, in time for the new one
does anybody knows why the 1st season will only have 12 episodes?
I would think it is so Showtime can get a feel if the show will be successful at all. Why waste the money for extra shows and contract obligations if the show isn't doing well.
Plus, aren't more seasons about 12 or 13 episodes, especially when the show is one hour long?
