(images of clips from GOP attack ads)

Voice Over: The President and many Republican candidates are trying to scare the American people by saying that electing a Democratic Congress will lead to America "Cutting and Running" from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

(images of prominent Republican Representatives and Senators smiling with President Bush)

Voice Over: The truth is, even if the Democrats wanted to "Cut and Run", as long as President Bush is in office, there's very little the Congress could do to force the Commander-in-Chief to bring the troops home.

(images of popular democrats at committe hearings)

Voice Over: But there is one thing that a Democratic Congress CAN do for the American people. They can ask some tough questions, and demand answers, questions that the Republican-controlled Congress has utterly failed to do over the past six years.

(unflattering images of Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Rice)

Voice Over: Vote for a Democratic Congress NOW, before Bush and his people are gone, and we NEVER know the truth.

(fade images of Bush admin to black)

We need a resident Flash expert to make this ad a reality in a few days.

Counter-Ad:

(Clips from various Democratic Ads that promise a "New Direction")

Voice Over: During this election cycle, Democrats have been promising a new direction. But what the Democrats don't tell you is what that direction is.

(Clip of donkey sitting in car with hazard lights on examing a map while holding it upside down. The car is painted red, white and blue.)

Voice Over: What will the Democrats do about Iraq if they take control of Congress?

(Clip of donkey tossing map aside and pulling onto road.)

Voice Over: A recent Democratic ad claims that (show text) "as long as President Bush is in office, there's very little the Congress could do to force the Commander-in-Chief to bring the troops home." What they aren't saying now is what they could do...

(Clip of Tim Russert reading Ben Cardin quote - “‘What I hope would happen is that the leadership of Congress will work on a constructive course in Iraq, recognizing that public opinion is on the side of change,' said Cardin. ... If that does not work, however, Cardin said he’d be willing to vote to cut off funding for the war.")

Voice Over: Cut the funding for the troops in Iraq? This would put the United States on the road to disaster.

(Clip of car driving down road towards a cliff)

Voice Over: If the Democrats take over our Congress, the result is clear.

(Clip of car driving off cliff...falling through the air...and crashing to the ground.)

Voice Over: Your vote matters now more than ever.

Looks at camera:

Gays want to get married? Fine by me! Fuck taxes!

Voice over

Leave us alone--we're libertarians!

Paid for by people who are tired of being fucked with

Um, yeah. That's basically the stereotypical bullshit fear ad that I would have running under the open of my ad.
