Consecrate My Heart


The reptilian scales shed away
Saw you at a distance
Thought to fair better as I went elsewhere
And now all I can do is hope there's tomorrow
But I know there is
It just may be
Maybe

But there was no room for me
To find a place for you
I guess it wasn't there quite yet
And now to grow apart
The tear of salt and the chest in pain
I figured it was about missing you
But it was more about missing something I never had.
