Like many of you who liked Avacado from the start, I pretty much had it in my car player from May through about August non-stop. I didnt get sick of it, I just kinda moved on late in the summer. I had pretty much put it away by the middle of September or so and hadn't listened to it in about a month and a half until yesterday. I dont know what I was expecting, but I was MORE blown away with yesterday's listen and then the subsequent ones since. Come Back really grabbed me, as did Comatose and Army Reserve. Anyway...for me with many albums, I like it initally, then listen to it for a while, but then put it away and then really only listen to it a few random times a year. I was, and am, amazed at the LEVEL to which that record grabbed me this "second time" around.

I had the same experience. I had it in my car from May to the end of July when I realized between listening to it nonstop and all the live shows I saw in July that I was wearing it out.
I listening to most of the album at home the other night. I still love it.
I can't wait for the next one.

This thread is the reason why PJ Chat has turned into the suck.
Why do I care if this album passes the litmus test for you again?
(see how PJ Chat has turned me nasty?)
If I dont care about something, I just dont post anything. If something that someone else has brought up or mentioned sparks enough interest in me to agree or disagree or to just add my two cents, I post something. Its called a message board....someone posts a thought, people who are interested in that thought post a reply. You are nasty, because I have been posting here for 3 years now, and that is the first time that someone has taken the time to tell me that what I posted wasnt worth their time. if you are getting nasty and cranky here, take a week or so break from even looking here...thats what I do.

you guys have inspired me to listen to this on the way home tonight
Me too.
Like so many PJ albums for me, the studio albums don't get in rotation enough. Boots tend to dominate for me, so even when I pop in vs., NC etc. I tend to be blown away by something that i never noticed before.

Just a few things...
This is PJ chat, this has something to do with Pearl Jam so it goes here, if it was in GD the folks would go ape shit cause it is related to Pearl Jam.
Second, why would anyone care about your opinion of this thread? Well I guess there are some weirdos who actually give a shit about others' opinions, just like some might care about people's opinions of Pearl Jam.
What do you think you're going to get out of PJ chat, it really isn't meant to be something besides Pearl Jam news and a whole bunch of posts related to people's opinions of Pearl Jam.
And finally I've wasted a lot of time on one post. I really shouldn't visit PJ chat.
