sooooooooo.......Scott "Id Fuck Hitlers Asshole to Make a Buck" Boras actually convinced this gutless, emotionless, testical-less Nancy Drew to opt out of $33 mill to become a free agent

I could kiss Boras on the lips I could. GOODBYE NANCY!!!! hope you find another sucker to give you money for being the garbage player you are. This is truly a happy day in the koufax house, and for Dodger fans EVERYWHERE

I do. A large portion of Paul Depodesta's idiocy was just erased. I'm amazed, too. No way he gets a better deal on the open market. Problem is... there go 20 of the roughly 27 home runs the Dodgers hit as a team last year.

Couldn't this have been done via the "JD NANCY Drew is a piece of shit" thread? ;)

frees up more cash to bring in Aramis Ramirez or Soriano, resign Nomar, a whole bunch of options

I hate Drew as much as anyone but I'm not sure why this is such a great move for the Dodgers.

Watch them do something stupid like make a trade for Burrell with the freed up money.

Sigh. That's so horrid, it just might happen. I'd go with Aramis, personally.

I guess Depo wasn't all bad. the opt-out clause seems to have worked out well for all parties.
