Odd stuff. I was very happy to see the current Republican party lose. It made me feel a ton better about being a little bit right. i was not on RM at all on wednesday, but when i checked it on thurs i thought,

"gee, everyone is being really adult and not gloating."

but back to the original post: is C4 a republican who has been disenchanted by his party? is he saying he is relieved to not have to "make excuses" for what his party has done over the past few years?

I kind of hope they Dems don't do anything too drastic in the next couple years. A major change (or fuck-up) will just cause another Republican to get elected next presidential election.
