Great song. Great record. I should listen to it tomorrow
They were such a great band until their guitarist quit.

Hurtin. OLP has been garbage since Clumsy ... their best song is either Birdman or Hope. Probably Hope.
Happiness is my favorite OLP record. So many gems on that one. Spiritual machines was great too.
But if Naveed is your favorite record I can see why the others don't do much for you. Very different sound. Although you like clumsy, which is pretty similar.
Heard Birdman (first OLP song I liked), Hope, One Man Army, and Superman's Dead walking the dog this morning. Good times.

Their guitar player quitting killed the band - they've never been the same since - now they're just your ordinary rock band...there's absolutely nothing special about them

I love Naveed and Clumsy. Great albums!
Happiness.... was hit and miss for some. Some songs I loved, others I didn't really like at all.
I liked Spiritual Machines, but after that, they really fell apart.
Neon Crossing is a great tune!
CHANGE YOUR AVATAR
I've liked the odd OLP song I've heard here and there on the radio, but it just seemed as if the lead singer was a one-trick pony. All of his vocals sound the same on every song.

OLP played a freebie at the Cambridge Side Galleria when I was in 8th grade. They actually played on a BOAT, so the water would act like the barrier. Great set, people were moshing and falling in the water. They did autographs afterwards, I still have all 4 of them on a postcard.
Never listened to them ever since.

their last cd sucked too. I'm not suprised.
They gotta get that old guitarist back or they are just lost.

most correct and deprressing statement ever.
fuck. They still put on a great live show though. Old songs still sound great.

Why do we have do this everytime we get to OLP? Yes all that Somewhere Out There stuff is terrible grabage. But Healthy In Paranoid Times is a fantastic album despite its awkward title. Seriously it's a grower, which means you gotta listen more than once but yeah, give it a chance guys. I guess even I haven't listened to the Somewhere out there album which makes me somewhat and absolutely hipocritcal.
