DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!
Just got home, it was the gig of my fuckin' life. The first set was insane, I didn't know when it would stop...Go, DTE, Gods' Dice, Once, Immortality, SOLAT - Fuck.
Can't believe we got the No Woman, No Cry intro tag to Betterman and Don't Gimme No Lip - a bunch of guys started a "LET STONE SING!" chant early on and got their wish later.
Ed tagged Wishlist with a bunch of stuff about how he wished he lived in Adelaide.
The crowd was nuts, singing and dancing and going off even the stands. The band seemed to be in a great mood and really fed off the energy in the room.
Black was incredibly beautiful, the "do-do-doo's" were sung by the crowd long after Matt and Stone finished playing, the band seemed geniunely in awe.
OHMYFREAKIN'GOD, what a show. Sorry this is all disjointed, I'm still in the post-gig sweaty haze...
BTW: I was the dude with the glasses in the Richard Pryor t-shirt if anyone spotted me, halfway up the stands next to the stage, Stone's side. Met tommyphillips briefly at the merch stand, sorry if I startled you dude.

Jeremy is a nice choice in that spot. Good call.

wacky set list!!
I had a blast, I couldn't ask for anything more.
Interstellar Overdrive/Corduroy was a nice touch to close the main set too, wasn't it '98 the last time it was played during the main set and not as an opener? Or have they done it since?
EDIT: Nope, I'm wrong - 2003.6.22 Noblesville, Indiana. Played after Long Road.

No Woman, No Cry
this was the whole song?
Nope, just a tag intro to Betterman. Went on for quite a while though, he did a few run through the usual "no woman, no cry" chorus and then did a speech about how he'd like to sing something for all new parents (guess he can relate) and sang "no baby, no cry" for a while. Nice.

Great show.. don't have another to compare it to.. but everything seemed incredible.
My wish came true.. Immortality Ed was apparently sick but until Stone said something I had no idea Great seats (10th row, inside aisle Stone's side, THANKYOU 10c)
Couldn't ask for a better first show.

wow.. dont know where to start.
ed seemed a lil weary (sick, hungover?) when he first walked out but the crowd soon changed his state of mind i think, all the band had huge smiles all night
all day i was hoping for immortality and once! got BOTH! sad was played for the mexican guy next to me, some guy from the US (Matt) wanted to hear Army Reserve and go his wish. The crowd was insane.
Baba was amazing. SOLAT, once (so amazing both of these were so early in the set as well!), immort, last exit, gods dice, great daughter tag, great SIFL tag.. nice black tag.. and heaps of people chanting for stone to sing, great. fuckin amazing show in all cant wait till tomorrow.

Absolutely fantastic show. The band was on, enjoying themselves it seemed and there was great crowd interaction. Ed pulled off Immortality without a lyrical misstep 'twas great indeed. When Stone stepped up to the mic I was expecting Mankind, but Don't Gimme No Lip was awesome, great rockin' song live. Bring on Night 2.
