I'm proud of you for this thread Angus

Jeremy loves should check out the uniondale 03 version. One of my all time favorites.

I have the Antwerp 06 version on every minute I'm in the car. I was so totally blown away by this song which I never thought could blow me away as hard as it did.

Jeremy is one of Pearl Jam's most powerful songs. Other than it being over-played (which, I don't really understand why that would make it suck) I don't get why people seem to hate this song.

I love Jeremy, but I will say that the end meanders a bit. There are some really powerful parts to it, and the outro is great, but it could have been 20-30 seconds shorter.

Jeremy is always a great experience live. Stip pointed out a very good version (Uniondale)

Jeremy was a victim of overkill from MTV and radio but that shouldn't take away from it being a great song. Ed's vocals and the music are both very strong. One of the most memorable opening riffs of the '90s. They don't always play with the energy it deserves but on night when they're hitting on all cylinders it's still a pile driver that will fire up the crowd.
This was also the song that hooked me onto this band. I didn't care for either Alive or Even Flow at first but liked Jeremy. I heard a friend say there wasn't a bad song on Ten and bought the cassette. Haven't turned back since.
Though I must say 'Jeremy' is one of my least favorite names.

This song is certainly fashionable to dislike amongst the "too kool for skool" sodomites.

i think that eds huming during the chorus instead of singing make its so much more powerful..plus its fun to see fans beside you start belting out the chorus then realizing ed isnt singing along

I have no idea. I never paid attention to it and I don't really listen to much older shows.

I'll check some out.

I think the reason so many fans don't like it as much (I don't think they hate it) it's because all the non-PJ fans only know pearl jam because of jeremy.

It's typicall meeting someone who doesn't know shit about music and only knowing of Jeremy of all the PJ songs, and then me trying to convince them that's there much better songs that Jeremy in the catalogue
