I'm having problems setting up my server settings. I've got no previous experience setting up E-mail clients, so could you use basic language please.

I don't know what to choose, "pop" or "imap".

Incoming and outgoing servers are a complete riddle to me. I've tried following instructions on line, but to no avail. I use supanet and yahoo to retrieve my mail.

Please help an old codger.

i had so many problems with trying to set mine up that i had to resort to using outlook. i'm pretty sure mine's set to pop. i'd contact your isp and get them to talk you through it.

mail servers are usually mail.sitename.com, so for instance, mail.yahoo.com, but thats only in theory, yahoo may have a different server name

You don't have to understand anything, I think most providers provide (ha !) information on how to setup your mail clients

I tried that, Peeps. It didn't work. But thanks anyway. I'm going to contact my isp.
