 Post subject: next best thing after Nero?

hey everyone

nero is being lame, whats the next best program to burn vob's etc

i just seem to be burning dvds and then when i lpay em in my dvd player i just get like a Video_ts folder and Audio_ts folder on my screen, i click video ts and nothing is in it. but as we speak i put it in my dvd drive on my pc and its working fine with power dvd

whats wrong with my burning?

Make sure you create the new disk as a 'DVD-Video' and not 'DVD Rom' or data disk.

To clarify, do you mean a DVD player on your computer, or a standalone DVD player hooked to a TV?

When you run Nero, are you selecting "DVD-Video" as the project? What kind of video files are you using?

yeh im getting this on a normal dvdp layer hooked up to a tv

YOur burning it as DVD-Videao right...?? ANything else will not produce a standard play the movie kinda video you want. Sounds like a DVD ROm or basically a Data DVD, which can be played with software on any PC. Standalone players wont
