have to be the worse thing on earth (besides falling off a tree stand and ripping your nut sack wide open)
i dont know what you call them where you live, but they are cramps you get in your sleep that wake up right up and cause you to scream Jesus at the top of your lungs.
you know youre in pain, but your not sure why, or where its eminating from.

I get those all the time.
After 30 years, I've figured out how to avoid them. STAY HYDRATED. They're almost always a result of dehydration. Drink a big glass of water before bed, you won't get them.

i get them in the area right above my junk. they're usually so bad that i keel right over to the ground and have to lay down. i read, like dave mentioned, that it's from dehydration. but i don't know with what i'm getting. could be something bad.

how about when you wake up but you're not really awake
you can feel all your muscles and you can breathe and you're aware of your surroundings and all your senses are active but you can't move a muscle, as if you're still asleep

Never heard of them, never had them. I feel like I'm missing out

I haven't gotten the ones in the calves in a while, but lately I've been getting them in the arch of right foot. I have to wake up and walk around for a couple of minutes to stop the pain.

The ones in your feet are usually a result of tightness in your calves. Stretch out your calves, and the foot cramp will stop.
